“Writing From Your Life:
One Author’s Experience

     Debra Lynn Alt is a singer-songwriter who received attention early in her career as the lead singer for Rolling Stone Magazine’s house band. She has performed in musical theater and continues to sing at events and fundraisers. Prior to her latest CD, “Each Moment We’re Alive,” she released two others: “A Spirited Mother” and “In Broad Daylight.” She has written songs for charitable organizations and causes such as Habitat for Humanity, autism, and child abuse. She also wrote the official Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) song, for which she received a citation from Connecticut’s Attorney-General. Her recent book and CD compilation "Each Moment We're Alive," inspired by cancer survivors, was launched in October 2015. 
Debra Lynn Alt     Addressing writers on the topic “The Musical and Photographic Story of Each Moment We're Alive (inspired by cancer survivors) The Magic Behind Making it Happen,” Debra will sing and show a brief video of her latest work.

 

 

 

    The presentation will follow a short SE CAPA business meeting and networking session that commences at 6:30 pm.
