CAPA is a not for profit organization with a mission to help Authors, Publishers and support services increase their sales, revenue and profits.

Our Activities include: 

Regular meetings at various locations in the state of Connecticut, where members can network to learn and conduct business together and learn from Expert speakers, Publishers and/or local Authors. We also hold regular Networking meetings to benefit our members. 

Webinars are held bi-weekly on Thursdays, providing a venue of interesting and informative topics through the internet. 

The Authority Newsletter contains items of interest, information about aspects of writing, publishing, marketing and information about CAPA Events.

CAPA-U - our premier Writers Education forum that features a notable keynote speaker, Agent interviews and speakers in the categories of Writing, Publishing, Marketing.

BIG E Bookstore - we run a qualified Connecticut Author bookstore in the Connecticut Building at the BIG E, where our authors can present their books at this 'New England State Fair' event.

Writing Contest - we run an annual Writing Contest in Essay, Short Story, Poetry and Children Story each year.

Social Media and Facebook provide a platform and identity to our authors, along with our own activity announcements.
